Operating from Macduff, Gardenstown and Rosehearty,
Buchaneer is an ideal boat for carrying divers quickly to the
excellent dive sites found between Fraserburgh and Cullen.
Diver Safety
Buchaneer sports more
safety gear than you can shake a stick at (i.e 14 man life-raft,
rescue buoys
and slings, spare engine, 2xVHF radios, 2xcompasses, 2xGPS,
first aid kit, oxygen etc). We can accommodate eight divers comfortably.
The commercially qualified skippers are also
both divers (HSE Part IV, PADI Divemaster) and trained first-aiders.
Trips and Prices

- Please book with 2 weeks' notice (trips may be booked on
short notice if the boat is available)
- A 50% non-refundable deposit will be required
(refundable only if weather conditions prevent the trip,
or if North 58° have
to cancel the trip).
- The booking will only be confirmed on receipt of the deposit.
- North 58° Sea Adventures reserve the
right to review these conditions and prices as necessary.
What's to See?
So, what is there to see up here? Between
Rosehearty and Cullen, the cliff and rock formations are absolutely
fantastic, with seal and bird colonies abounding and plenty of
porpoises going about, there are caves to follow through (one
is 60m in length!), reefs to dive, the odd wreck, and some of
the best visibility conditions in Britain. It's not the Red Sea,
but it is on your doorstep!
You
need...
Bring full tanks, an SMB, computer, torch
and strobe or light-sticks. Toilets/changing room is available
here in Banff, and there are toilets at Macduff, Gardenstown
and Rosehearty harbours.
